A business development village
for the Panther generation of Los Angeles.
Designed in dialogue with Ty de Porres Forman's Panther — an effort at multiracial analysis and commentary on political development in the light of a distanced, removed, and ascriptive state of government. The Rodin Neuron is standing up an accelerator that supports Black and Panther-derived new businesses using a short / medium / long-term GDP assessment, market & sector identification, and strengthening anchored in each founder's nearest neighborhood council, with structured feedback to the Mayor's office and City Council.

Communities of every background examining the impact of oppression, of good and bad government decisions, and of good and bad business and economic decisions — calculating the discrepancies between communities and uniting around what they reveal.
Honest commentary on a state of government that is too often distanced, removed, and ascriptive — and how everyday Angelenos route around it through neighborhood-level economic power.
Every founder is mapped to their nearest LA neighborhood council. Councils that support the initiative connect directly to the City Council and Mayor's office to request CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) funds, matching funds, and multi-fund investment packages for new business development.
Direct support for Black and Panther-derived new businesses: capital readiness, sector strategy, procurement, and political-economic literacy.

Each founder works the same three-horizon arc, calibrated to the GDP and sector reality of their nearest neighborhood council district.
GDP snapshot of the founder's nearest neighborhood council district. Identify under-served demand, working capital gap, and a 90-day revenue path. Stand up books, banking, and city/county registrations.
Sector identification within the council district and adjacent districts. Strengthen procurement readiness with the City and County of Los Angeles. Connect the founder's roadmap to the Mayor's office and City Council priorities.
Move the business from neighborhood-anchored to citywide and regional. Compete on city, county, state, and federal contracts. Feed back into Panther political-economic analysis as a case study and employer of record.

Building the Business Development Village.
Panther is working toward formal zoning and planning processes, gathering consensus on lot usage to establish a dedicated Business Development Village. This village will serve as a physical anchor for cohort companies — a place where founders, neighborhood councils, city planners, and investors co-design mixed-use space for production, retail, and community gathering.

Panther is building a formal partnership with the Los Angeles NAACP to ensure the accelerator advances multiracial equity, channels resources into Black and underserved communities, and connects graduates to the NAACP's network of advocates, legal resources, and civic programs.

"I am working on Panther — an effort at multiracial analysis and commentary on political development in the light of a distanced, removed, and ascriptive state of government. I really am excited at having communities of all backgrounds talk about how they are exploring the impact of oppression, of bad and good government decisions, as well as of bad and good business and economic decisions — and how we can unite around what may be discrepancies in experiences or perceptions calculated between communities. I am as well starting a business accelerator which may be able to support Black and Panther-derived new businesses.
